AutoCAD Draftsperson – New Homes

We are a rapidly growing company assisting homebuilders, currently in 5 states. This role to be filled will involve producing finished residential construction drawings.

Responsibilities: 

This is a production job that needs attention to detail. This person will be expected to create lot-specific house plans in a variety of jurisdictions including standard production housing from single family detached dwellings to Townhouse plans with the occasional custom options and lot-specific details as will be necessary. This person will be expected to take instruction, adhere to our drawing standards, and follow/adapt to building codes which will vary in each region and from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

This position will also include structural drafting, material take-offs, code research, and other duties as assigned, with training as needed.

Qualifications:

This role will absolutely require AutoCAD proficiency. Residential experience preferred. Flexible in office/remote work 9-5 and dependable internet access to participate in necessary screen share meetings and training. It also requires a working knowledge of residential construction and building code.

Benefits & Compensation:

• $40,000-$70,000 based on experience
